Lucy came to dogs later in life, getting her first one in
2014 starting with Tynewater Dog Training attending the puppy training
course. A couple of years later she began assisting at classes. Since then, Lucy has immersed herself in all things dog taking the opportunity to attend IMTD courses, workshops and conferences with leading global experts in dog training and behaviour.
The Blackie household now consists of 5 dogs, Holly, Poppy, Hamish, Ruby and a new addition puppy Hector.
These are all crossbreed working dogs which keeps Lucy busy, training with each individually, this includes all things scentwork, agility and general obedience.
Areas of particular interest for Lucy are canine behaviour following rehoming Ruby and regenerative therapies and arthritis management with Hamish suffering from hip dysplasia and consequent secondary issues.
