June McPhillips

June McPhillips is the Training Officer for Paws for Progress and is a
Full Member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and has an OCN
Level 3 in the Principles of Dog Training. She is a fully qualfied Dog
Groomer and has been involved in dog training for 15 years, both in
class situations and on a one-to-one basis.  June is a Recognised
Trainer for Scentwork UK.

June currently owns 2 flatcoated retriever and 2 springer spaniels
and has previously owned cross-breeds. She has trained her own dogs for
Working Trials, Lowland Search and Rescue, general obedience and Show
and her first flatcoat was a Therapet.

June has previously undertaken a number of canine related courses
including clicker training.  She continues to upskill in the latest
canine techniques and keeps abreast of research in the world of dog
training and behaviour.

June is very active in rescue and is a volunteer for a Scottish Breed
Rescue and helps other rescues in Scotland and beyond wherever
possible. She is also a former Committee Member of Scottish Working
Trials Society and a member of her chosen breed club.
