Focusing on strong Foundations

Tynewater Dog Training was founded in 2006 as a not-for-profit organisation to create a small, friendly training practice teaching fun, practical classes using progressive, reward based methods.  Our instructors are all volunteers and have a passion for all things dog. With collective teaching experience of over 75 years! and currently 8 dogs amongst them, you can be assured that your instructors have a wealth of both theoretical and practical knowledge.

We run classes locally in Midlothian in indoor and outdoor settings, running classes from puppy to advanced and we organise training days and events for the dog enthusiast and other trainers.

We are qualified, fully insured and our Instructors hold a variety of qualifications including Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, Registered Trainer Association of Behaviour Training Council,  Certified Trainer INTODogs, Qualified Trainer IMDT (Institute of Modern Trainers), Full Members of the Pet Professional Guild.
